A little too earnest
for a sarcastic website,
a little too new for a serious one.
I’m going to lay all my cards on the table.
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to be an author.
I also can’t remember a time when a well-meaning adult didn’t say, “be careful, writers make no money.”
Years stacked up like unopened mail, and I often told myself, “someday.” Other times, I said, “that’s a silly dream. Haven’t you be to a library? There are enough books in the world.”
Still, something calls to me, and I’m finally answering .
I’m not going to hide it from you: my YouTube channel, my Instagram, this website— it all exists so I can, one day, tell you a story. I think it’s best you know that upfront.
